Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child at Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of the stage. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago performing in stage roles for many years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in TV shows and films. Anna had her first big part in the role of Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. Anna continued to be a guest star in a few TV shows and films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue until the late 1990's, when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed between 2000 and 2001. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral the highlights of her acting career. Gunn took the stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn starred in a four-part podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on the relationship he has with Skyler can be seen in the television show.
